MidPoint-Edumacation Some more free music from fellow Tumblr, Max. Info/Bio: I’m known as MidPoint, and this project is entitled “Edumacation” and was created during the latter half of 2009. It is a 30 minuet Instrumental album with mixed media samples dropped in through out. The general theme and intention of the project is to provide a musical landscape to these various diverse opinions that are expressed through out the project. Using samples from documentaries, films, and TV shows that I have been exposed to through out the years, issues and arguments are presented that speak to people’s different world views and realities. The title, Edumacation, comes from the fact that many of these ideas, although have been influential to me, are not consistent with one another in terms of their perspective. I also do not share or agree with all of the opinions, but they are interesting and worthy of discussion for those who listen that closely. This fact contributes to my “Edumacation,” as being a confused set of knowledge and information attributed over the years, and furthering my understanding of a confused world. Furthermore, much of the project speaks to the process of education that people experience growing up, however its not a direct attack at the educational system.
